The Coastal Fishing Industry Grant Program was established as part of the NYS Small Business Storm Recovery Program. Under this program, commercial fishing businesses affected by Superstorm Sandy may be eligible for an award up to $50,000 to cover eligible, uncompensated losses to enable the affected business to repair or replace damaged equipment, inventory and/or provide the working capital necessary to help the business prepare for the upcoming fishing season.
