Effective April 4, there will be a butterfish trip limit increase, butterfish quota increase, changes to butterfish cap, and a 236 mt catch cap on river herring and shad catch in the mackerel fishery established.
The 2014 quotas for the Atlantic mackerel, Illex squid, longfin squid and butterfish fisheries are effective from April 4, 2014, through December 31, 2014.
