The next Industry-Funded Monitoring Joint Technical Meeting (Mid Atlantic and New England) is Tuesday, August 5, 2014 9:30 am at the NMFS Office in Gloucester, MA. We will continue work on the alternatives and analyses for the Omnibus Industry-Funded Monitoring Amendment, which will consider provisions for implementing industry-funded monitoring across all New England and Mid-Atlantic Council managed FMPs. The amendment will also consider specific observer coverage requirements for the Atl. herring and mackerel fisheries. This meeting will be webcast, with connection info available at: http://www.mafmc.org/actions/observer-funding-omnibus.
All for now, thanks, Jason
